Fishing

We fish all five kinds of salmon in our rivers: Chinook (Kings), Sockeye (Reds), Coho (Silvers),Chum (Dog salmon) and Humpies (Pink salmon).
Four freshwater fish are also available as well: Rainbow Trout, Artic Grayling, Dolly Varden and Pike. We fish an area with two different major river systems in a 70 mile radius around the Lodge. We have the possibility of fishing in seven different rivers-either by boat or on foot (smaller rivers). Depending on the season, it is possible to successfully fish up to four different rivers in one week. With our interesting range of possibilities, we can offer our guest, whether spoon or fly fisherman, a program full of variety. To put it shortly: a fisherman's challenge for everyone.

Daily Program

The daily program is always discussed the night before. We fish in the places that the fishermen like the best. Breakfast is at 6:15 a.m. The airplanes and guides are ready to go at 7:00 a.m. We return to the Lodge between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., according to the weather and the plan. Dinner is served at 7:30 p.m.
The program is dependent upon the weather. Sometimes in July and August there is morning fog over the lake and we cannot fly out punctually. Then the whole program in the evenings may be delayed a bit. We have always been able to fly out sometime in the morning, though.
